So rich is the ecosystem in this part of the world that the Niagara Escarpment, a 450-mile stretch of land that includes Stone Tree, has been designated by the United Nations as a World Biosphere Reserve to protect the hundreds of species of birds, plants and flowers that populate our more than 200 acres.  With abundant wildlife including bald eagles, waterfowl, turtles, deer and bear, our golf course is also a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary.

Eighteen holes of gorgeous golf serve as a gateway to your Stone Tree experience. You’ll experience a splendid 6,250 yards with tree-lined fairways, generous landing areas, no forced carries and a round of golf that will challenge golfers of all abilities.

Our practice facility, considered the best in the area, features a spacious driving range that allows golfers to hit from natural grass tees toward natural grass target greens. You can practice your short game from the chipping and pitching area, hit bunker shots and warm up the putter on our special practice green.

Stone Tree’s fully equipped fitness center is without a doubt the finest around. That means no matter where you put the most emphasis in your workouts – treadmill, cross training, Stairmaster, stationary bicycle, rowing machine, Nordic Track, weight and stretch machines or free weights – Stone Tree has it covered.

Want to go for a swim? Our indoor 25 yard pool is a popular place for lap swimming, group water exercise classes and other forms of activity.

Stone Tree has outstanding facilities for dining and special events such as tournaments, banquets, parties, wedding receptions and meetings. With our gorgeous banquet room and outdoor patio area, there is no place in the greater Owen Sound area that offers Stone Tree’s complete amenity package.

After a round of golf, stop by the Stone Tree Grill for casual lighter fare that includes tasty sandwiches, salads and appetizers. The Grill is a favorite with members, as well as the general public for lunch or dinner. Try our mouthwatering sandwich and salad combos for lunch.

Hungry in the middle of your round? Our Halfway House, located near the 10th tee box, is the perfect place to pick up a hot dog, sandwich or snack food. The gazebo features a barbecue area and adjacent spacious washrooms with running water nearby.

During the summer months our calendar of events highlights all the activities available at Stone Tree. Our banquet and meeting rooms welcomes groups as small as 12 and as large as 200.  The banquet room with patio makes Stone Tree one of the most popular places in the area for special events.
